Since the opening of the Sidney M. Oman Cancer Treatment Center at Chesapeake General Hospital in 1995, the facility has specialized in providing the full range of care needed by cancer patients.

Located on the main campus of Chesapeake General Hospital, the Oman Cancer Treatment Center offers state of the art, comprehensive diagnostic and treatment options in a congenial setting.
Staffed by dedicated professionals who see every patient as a whole person, we specialize in bringing about the best outcomes possible.
A patient's story
For patients like Willie Brown, a local resident who made 36 trips to the center for radiation therapy to treat his throat cancer, the center became almost like home.
As always, Barbara, his wife of 22 years, was at his side. "I'd sit and have coffee. I even made new friends," Barbara noted. "He got more than his voice back, he got just what he needed at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. He got hope."
Always moving forward
To help the center continue offering the latest in treatment Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation continues fund-raising campaigns to renovate the center, expand its offerings and provide patients with the personalized care Chesapeake Regional has become known for.
